General Information and Application Form Both Miss Banks of the Wabash and Miss Crossroads to America competitions hold two levels. Miss contestants must be between the ages of 18 and 24. Outstanding teen candidates must be between the ages of 13 to 17 and and is not a graduating senior. Miss and Outstanding Teen Crossroads to America candidates must reside in Vigo, Parke, Vermillion, Clay, or Sullivan counties or be currently enrolled students at Indiana State University, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, St. Mary of the Woods College, or Ivy Tech Community College - Terre Haute Campus. A qualifying resident of any county within the State of Indiana can compete at the Miss or Outstanding Teen competition. Contestants selected as Miss Banks of the Wabash and Miss Crossroads to America will receive a scholarship, crown, pin, sash, and crown pin. Contestants selected as Outstanding Teen for Banks of the Wabash and Crossroads to America will receive a $250.00 entry fee for the state competition, crown, sash, and crown pin. In order to compete in either pageant at the Miss level, all contestants are required to raise a minimum of $100.00 for the Children's Miracle Network, Miss America's chosen philanthropy project, by the actual date of the competition. Miss candidates will compete in the following areas: Private Interview, On-stage Question, Talent, Evening Wear, and Swimwear. Outstanding teen candidates will compete in the following areas: Interview, On-stage question,Talent, Evening Wear, and Active Wear.
